I just saw the film. Enjoyable in a way, the kind of film I almost never see.
I think Haslinger's score was serviceable, I don't agree with the negativity that came his way from certain individuals. Nothing I would buy though, but then I'm extremely selective these days.
Much like I said in the 'Guilty Pleasures' thread, the first track is basically "Mind Heist" 2.0, while the action-oriented tracks are leftovers from SHERLOCK HOLMES and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. It helps to be in a certain mood, but I have an odd fondness for the score.
That last sentence could easily be ascribed to the film, as well.
I love Paul W.S. Anderson (unlike most everyone else), but this film was a total disaster. I think I turned it off after about 45 minutes. So I don't remember anything of the score. Is it available on a soundtrack?
