That panel was a lot of fun. In addition, Comic Con also had three other film music panels, including two featuring television scores, and a fourth featuring composers of classic horror films, which included on the panel Richard Band, Charles Bernstein, and Harry Manfredini. All of the panels were well attended, but the superhero panel was by far the most popular. The film music panels seem to be a regular thing at Comic Con now. Hopefully La La Land will consider returning to Comic Con and other labels will consider having a booth there as well.
I didn't realise LLL had stopped going to Comic-Con, I thought it was an annual event for them with a few new releases to tie-in with?
From what I understand, La-La Land had previously been sharing a booth with another vendor who stopped going. The whole process for new vendors getting a dealer's table at Comic-Con is not only more difficult now, but astronomically expensive, as Drop Forge mentioned. Space is at a premium so older vendors have to not attend in a particular year for new vendors to have a small chance of getting in.
