So I'll go with El Cid. But my favorite movie of that year is One, Two, Three, and my current avatar is my first record - Khachaturian's Sabre Dance - which was the basis of the score. Sorry, I can't think of any. If you read the thread title, it only has to be by 1974 (although I don't think anyone has noticed that). You can't think of a great score for the 40 years up to and including '74?
