I believe Jeremy Irons has got the part of Alfred down pat and will stand alongside Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and Michael Caine as an outstanding version of that beloved character.
In my attempt to "get it back up" for the new movie, I bought JLA: TOWER OF BABEL (actually JLA BOOK 4) today. I never did read it upon its initial publication as it was just after my comic comeback faded in early '99, but I've long been interested in it.
