I agree with you, Goblinscore. People have to take a time-out and think about what TallGuy actually asks for. He's after a very specific sound, and it doesn't make sense to go back too far in time. People have to focus on the 90s. That's the direct precursor of Zimmer's sound in GLADIATOR. Gerrard is a major player in that regard. Actually, Thor, TallGuy is asking for examples prior to 1975 (Morricone's MOSES), not the 1990s.
