No, I no longer think of the things people do as stupid. I have to think of them as "entertainment" for the rest of us, for those of us who are not self-involved half-wits.

Take this anesthesiologist who said cruel things and and puts alse things on a patient's record, while said patient is "under the gas."

Then gets beaned big time when it's found that it was all recorded.

Do we have to put body cams on all our professionals now? Sheesh.

I only laugh when stupid people do stupid things to themselves. If their stupidity hurts someone else then I can think of other emotions and thoughts that come into play.

The things she said are obnoxious, but the fact that she falsified an entry in his medical records is the big deal to me.

You start a thread claiming that people don't do stupid things anymore and at the same time start a thread about Donald Trump?
Was it your goal to win the most contradicting threads award? Because if it was, you have won it.

I think that only applies if the premise is that Donald Trump is stupid.
Psychotic, perhaps.

big grin

The obnoxious part speaks to her professionalism big-time. So I hold it to a similar standard.

I thought this post would be about semantics - that people do "uninformed" things now, and that "stupid" had been banned along with "shut up."

I would cut the alligator wrestler some slack - sounds mentally ill, like a manic phase of manic-depression.

The other guy reminds me of a competition between Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny - Daffy finally wins performing an explosion gag which he "can only do once" as he floats to heaven. Warner Bros. will probably get sued now.
