Yes, I was the fortunate one to buy this promo cd from The Deputy. What a truly amazing score from Beltrami- this ranks right up there with his best-could arguably be his best. I'm a bit stunned this was never released on CD- it really needs to be.

Glad you're enjoying the CD! I feel it definitely should be noted that the score was co-composed by the very talented Buck Sanders who played a huge part in making this score as impressive and awesome as it turned out to be and wrote some incredible music.

I just wish I knew why Lakeshore dropped the CD. It came so close to making it to production and then was cancelled, as discussed in this thread:

Apparently it just wasn't that important to them or to someone within their ranks, it was our loss because this score, the way it was written and orchestrated and presented, CD is definitely the best way to appreciate it in a high-quality product. I'm a believer that something is better than nothing and we are certainly lucky to have the digital release of this fantastic score by Beltrami and Sanders, but hopefully one day a CD will be issued.
