Mrs. Frisby Rats of NIMH Is Getting a New Adaption.
Apparently the new treatment will be a live-action CGI comedy. (Ugh!) At least it sounds like it will have nothing to do with Don Bluth's masterpiece, "The Secret of NIMH" and is strictly a retarded adaption of the children's novel most basic plot element- super intelligent rats.
Though wasn't there already a CGI- live action movie about super intelligent hamsters called "G-Force"?
It probably couldn't be any worse (well, I am prepared to eat my words though!) than "The Secret on NIHM 2". And if you've not seen that, you're a lucky man.

I've avoided that like the plague. (I think I saw the "NC's" review though.)
Lots of films get directors, writers and other talent, then said people drop out replaced by others. Then the project remains in limbo and often never sees the light of day. Hopefully that will be the case here. What's never discussed is the intent of the project. Is it a remake of Don Bluth's film or another take of the children's book. Bluth's film is radically different from the book which I thought was a boring slog.
