We need more Alan Silvestri scores expanded, please!! "Back to the Future" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" were great scores of his to expand. Then the crappy score to "Eraser" was expanded. It was probably done because the rights were easy to get. On my bucket list are complete scores to "Back to the Future part II", "Back to the Future Part III", and "Contact". Anyone know the status of these scores and if a release of them is likely? "Predator" is also pretty good but I'm not keen on action scores. I would love to know what Silvestri scores you would like to see expanded? Are my 3 on your wish list?
No, I have no desire for any expanded Silvestri. However, there's a fair amount of completely unreleased scores still. In particular, I like to see all his synth scores from the 80s released.
Predator 2 was on the top of that list for a long time, as was Judge Dredd up till recent. I would like to see Cat's Eye get expanded but Varese's manbag collection will most likely prohibit that from happening. Still, would be cool if it got a proper club release and not just the vinyl program reissue.
My current top requested Silvestri's for expansion:
1. G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra 2. The Avengers 3. Contact 4. Who Framed Roger Rabbit 5. Death Becomes Her
Also like you said, the BTTF sequels, maybe also Mouse Hunt.
Scores by him that I'd liek to see complete releases of that have had releases before:
1. "The Quick and the Dead" 2. "Father of the Bride" 3. And either (though preferably both) of the "Back to the Future" sequels. And no, I don't give one tiny fuck how similar some scoring may be.
Most everything else has been taken care of in recent years by Intrada, Varese and La La Land. Now, unreleased scores are a whole other list.
1. The Quick And The Dead 2. Ferngully: The Last Rainforest 3. Contact 4. What Lies Beneath
I'll buy BTTF 2 + 3 if they get expanded as I don't own these two at all, but I'm not too fussed as the first one isn't a score I play that much anyway.

Contact is available in complete form on the isolated track on the dvd
In no particular order (with the exception of #1 ) 1. Lilo and Stitch 2. The Mummy Returns 3. Super Mario Bros 4. Van Helsing 5. BTTF Parts 2 & 3 6. The Polar Express 7. Ricochet 8. Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot! 9. Who Framed Roger Rabbit? 10. Mousehunt 11. Volcano
