All of this great ghost talk makes me miss Bill's old "Gareth Bale" running gag. Keep on beatin' that tired humor drum, Bill-o! i cant even remember what it was. Was it that the ghost of Richard Burton said Gareth Bale wasnt for sale??!

Yeah, so I'm watching a series three episode of...my wife's...favorite Britcom. It's called As Time Goes By and in this episode the Lionel Hardcastle character (Geoffrey Palmer) is packing his few precious belongings but mostly just purging stuff, as I've often implored materialist tax exiles like Graham Watt to do. However, ol' Lionel, emotionally constipated Brit of the so-called Silent Generation that he is, pauses when he sees his trusty copy of End of an Innings by Denis Compton, who is apparently a world-renowned Cricketer. Lionel smiles that Silent Generation smile, then says, "I won't be parting with you, Denis." Perhaps this moment is the start of my lifelong love of Cricket, my new sport of choice.
