Well, I've done it. New thread.

Mid Copa America, mid Under 21 Euros, mid Women's World Cup.

All of utter insignificance compared with how our clubs will be letting us down this coming season...

I dont like the heading.
Cant post in a thread if the heading isnt right.
Or if it doesnt have a dust jacket.
Perhaps it would be okay if kev altered the original to read football thread 2014-2015
Then we could keep it as The football thread.
Thats tidy.
Tidy mind, clean thoughts, dust jacket.
Its the extra time bit that i dont like.
It takes this thread into the garbage can.
But what else can you expect from a threadcrapper like Tall guy.
Wait, which one of us was the drunk? Was it you or me? Or both of us?

Talking of the Copa America, has anyone been able to watch it? From what I've read, there seems to have been some decent games but with no coverage on UK TV, I've seen damn all. Apparently Neymar has been a very naughty boy. Good player, but a nasty piece of work. Reminds me of old thread favourite, Terry Henry.

England U21's again today...

I've seen a few highlights on Sky Sports News including the Neymar sending off. He is a bit of a shit. I saw Brazil vs Honduras at the London Olympics (in Newcastle) and by diving and pressuring the ref he got his marker sent off within 35 minutes.

Red Five Standing By!

Here was me thinking I'd checked in to a new hotel, but the decor is the same as the last one.
Let's hope it's got a better class of guests wink

Saw some Ladies World Cup last night. Gutted to see the Swedish lasses go out to Germany!!
I coulda watched them all night. Not that the Germans didn't have some fine looking ladies too, but those Swedes!! Oh man!!!
Oh...and they were playing football!

I got asked to manage a ladies team for a while.
(i waz dating the centre half at the time!!)
Very frustrating!
Unreliability worse than any mens team.
And 8 out of ten of them wouldnt have fancied you, kev.
Altho they may have fancied your wife!

Chelsea and man city after our free agent Alex Song.
West ham, where he has been on loan, also after him.
No contest there then!

I see England u 21 nicked a match then!

I'd have settled for only 8 out of ten girls not fancying me at almost any stage of my life!

If the Wanderer is still with us, I note that Notlob have let Andy Lonergan go. He was a good keeper for us, and was even the team captain at one point. I think Warnock signing his portly pal Paddy Kenny put paid to Lonergan's Leeds career.

Hope he finds another club.

Brazil is out of the Women's Wold Championships, that's quite a shock. But Marta apparently did nothing for her team this time around. And against Australia!

Lonergan has gone to Fulham, TG. Most Bolton fans liked him, too. I was gutted he left to be honest. ben amos is good though, but i'm not 100 per cent sure he's actually a firm signing.

Jim, you shouldn't post links to war crimes, it's uncouth!

Glad he got a club, even if it's just Fulham!

As for Maradona, apparently he wants to stand to replace Blatter as FIFA supremo. It's hard to think of a more appropriate replacement...

I think some of you boys get more fired up over Thierry Henry's "Hand of Frog"(?!?) than you do of the clearly more devastating '86 travesty. But hey, at least England didn't lose on penalties that time.
