What have you added? I see four things in your first post, but I'm not sure which one is the most recent one.

Ah! Then I can understand why you thought of me. If it hadn't been for prog rock, I would probably never have been interested in soundtrack albums. So yeah -- HUGE fan! That doesn't mean that I like ALL forms of prog rock, however. I still haven't properly warmed to some stylings in the 80s and 90s (like Dream Theater), or 'prog metal'. But yeah -- prog rock of the 70s, including variants like art rock, symphonic rock etc. is about the best music in the world!

That "Lost" series--specifically all of it.

The Total Recall score-just a bunch of bash boom bam.

Two scores that sold out ridiculously fast--Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend, the unused score for The China Syndrome, and, unrelated to that, Alex North's rejected effort for 2001.

1980s synth music--it's just sick GenX nostalgia for anyone to like that crap. You'll notice that no one born after, say, 1974 likes it nor does anyone born before 1965.

Well actually I agree with all that. But this thread seems to be saying that you can't have your own likes & dislikes, & you have to ask permission to like something. Soundtracks are a good case in point, I don't personally know anyone who likes to listen to old soundtracks, but sod it! I do. I feel no need to ask Bruce's permission to enjoy something.
