How do you manage to know it's Cutthroat Island from such a sybilin clue, please? EDIT: don't get me wrong, it would be great, and an instant purchase for me, if the master used on Prometheus double CD, which sounds like compressed MP3, could be rework. Listen to the original release, you'll hear the difference (more clarity, more space). He posted a video from Cutthroat Island with the post.

I strangely, somehow didnt see the film when it came out and didnt even get the CD so this may be a gem of a score that may have been overlooked by me and forgotten. So it will be nice to get acquainted with both of them now. It is definitely not strange that you've never seen the film, buddy. I think most of us just bought the score blind.

Aside from the compressed sound that I remember people complaining about, there could also be the inclusion of a five-minute demo theme from David Arnold (though I've found conflicting reports that wasn't even done).

All John Debney posted was "big news coming". That does not automatically mean a new re-issue of the soundtrack is coming. Maybe there's going to be a concert where that track is played, maybe there's going to be a Live To Projection concert of the film played somewhere, maybe there's a sequel to the movie about to be greenlit. Who knows!
