Btw This version - and the theatrical version playing on NETFLIX .... I seem to remember a slightly different title sequence. The NETFLUX one opens with the cue SUN ON.THE.MOUNTAIN and a short.montage of snow scenes. Was that.in the roadshow version?
Yeah that was in the roadshow version. That cue then fades into the main title.
...Just made my own comp of Ennio's score minus all the dialogue and songs and adding in the tracks from 'Thing' and 'Heretic'. I also re-arranged the order a little putting the two extended pieces ('Red Rock' and 'Neve') at the end as 'bonus' and putting the 'Overture' and the shorter 'Red Rock' as the first two pieces - truer to the feel of the film. It REALLY works.
Could you please post your track list? Where did you place the tracks from "The Thing" and "The Heretic?"
