Moroder's CAT PEOPLE. I never have anything good to say about synth scores publicly, but I secretly play this one from time to time. Winner, we have a winner here! Beautiful description of why it's a guilty pleasure. I was gonna say Vince DiCola's Transformers Movie, but hell, I don't feel guilty about anything I like!

I forgot: "Garfield in Disguise". It's the Halloween special. For some reason it has that stupid name when in reality everybody knows it should be called the Garfield Halloween Special. Anyway, there is nothing I don't love about that special. And I love that very small ensamble score by Ed Bogus and his wife as well as the songs they did. The only way to hear it is to watch the special as there is no release for it. I can sing 'em, I can hum 'em, just not out in public.

Mission To Mars - Ennio Morricone Wolf - Ennio Morricone EDIT: On further thought, maybe Lalo Schifrin's Bullitt meets the OP's criteria of a score I like, but don't generally like the composer's output, but I don't know what the general consensus towards Bullitt is on here, and whether I should be enjoying it in secret (I would suspect it's fairly popular). Wolf and Mission To Mars are favorites of mine, and I do not feel one bit guilty about it. :-) In fact, Mission to Mars was one of the outstandingly good scores of its year. BULLIT is a classic score for a classic film; I think indeed it is likely to be one of the more popular scores by Schifrin.
