not that anyone cares, but... Dear film music fans, please, pay attention to the following announcement. Due to unexpected cancelation from conductor Fernando Velázquez we are forced to postpone „MICHAEL GIACCHINO IN CONCERT“ until February 7th, 2016. Mr. Velázquez canceled his participation in our event for scheduling reasons only 2 weeks before it was originally planned. During the last few days we were trying to secure a new conductor who might be able to study the scores and conduct Michael Giacchino’s beautiful, yet quite difficult music and still deliver a concert of high quality. Unfortunately all experienced conductors had been already booked and are not available on such short notice. To maintain the quality we decided, after consulting with Mr. Giacchino and his management, to postpone the event till the later date, which is based not only on availability of the orchestra and choir but also the Rudolfinum’s busy schedule. We hope that – in spite of this unpleasant news – you will remain interested in our future events. You will not miss on anything. All tickets are still valid for the concert next year. If you have any questions or if you are not available to attend the concert on February 7th, 2016, contact us at info@filmmusicprague.com until 15th November 2015. Thank you for your attention. Film Music Prague Team

Film Music Prague Team Strange re conductors as I could have provided a choice of at least 6 first class conductors who know this type of repertoire having recorded it with me? And my colleague Nic Raine, regular Prague conductor who just did the amazing Rozsa concert there, is actually in Prague that week recording Crouching Tiger 2....

I am sure I recommended some of those when the Giacchino's own choice wasn't available but it was settled on Velazquez since he had already conducted his music in Spain... Btw, who's the composer on Crouching Tiger 2?
