I wonder if MV's 'pet project' (LLLCD 1331) was Millenium vol. 2. Or perhaps it's Searching for Bobby Fischer? AI is 1353 and Bobby is 1355 Millennium Vol 2 is 1352 Still waiting on 1331 1333 1335 1350 MV

I'm down with A.I. Instant purchase. I have never seen Millennium. Is the music very consistent tonally with X-Files? If so, does it tend to sound more like the clashy action stuff, or the more melodic stuff? On the fence with those. I think my enjoyment of a lot of the X-Files music comes from my familiarity with how they work on the show, and I won't have that with Millennium. I'm barely familiar with Millennium as a series myself and can tell you that the album works just fine as a standalone experience. Not sure about the second volume, but the first was largely melodic, albeit very melancholic. I'd describe it as a perfect rainy day album - sort of like the Caprica miniseries in score in tone, if that helps. Honestly, I think that the first Millennium album, as an overall listening experience was superior to the X-files sets and I say that as a *huge* fan of the X-files releases thus far. I definitely feels like a further exploration of some of the sounds he developed on the X-files, so if you like those scores you owe it to yourself to pick this up! Chris.

The theme from Bobby Fischer is so freaking good, so a reissue of this title is absolutely necessary for those who only got into Horner post-Titanic (which I find ridiculous, but that's another thread...).
