It is late, and I am tired. But, prior to retiring, here I am at FSM. Arthur, your topic IS fascinating and fun! You've caused me to put my thinking cap on, just when I'm ready to stop doing any more thinking today! Maybe I can come up with a few more examples for you to consider...

HOLLOW MAN (2000) Invisible man Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon) slips into his neighbor's apartment with the intention of raping her. The last shot we see is a closeup of her screaming as he's pushing her toward the bed. CUT to: A nighttime shot of Linda McKay (Elizabeth Shue) driving to Sebastian's apartment. We never see the rape. We don't need to see it. What I find fascinating about this sequence is that Jerry Goldsmith scores the next scene of Linda driving her car as if he's scoring the rape itself. I don't know if this qualifies, Arthur.
