Yeah, I saw a teaser for that on facebook. Massive Attack was also involved somehow. I'm not quite sure what this is (did Jarre work with Froese before Froese died?), but count me intrigued.
He's also collaborated with Gesaffelstein and M83 in new songs recently, so my guess is that the new studio album coming later this year is a collaboration album of some sort that will include all of these.

Massive Attack is involved in another track.
Yes, Jarre worked with Froese.
The Gesaffelstein collaboration sounded quite underwhelming, by the way.
The new album will indeed be a collaborative thing. He even met with Hans Zimmer not too long ago. And John Carpenter.

Yeah, I have a photo of the meeting with Zimmer from about two years ago or so. But I don't think it's related to the new album. Would be cool if it were!
A collaborative track between Jarre and John Carpenter has now been announced for this album, there's a video with an interview about it (and a bit of the track) on Bloody Disgusting (I can't link to it in work.)
Makes you wonder what other collaborations he might have up his sleeve! (I dare not dream, and yet... Kraftwerk? Vangelis? Perhaps he has done a track with Zimmer?)
Yeah, I saw that. This project just gets better and better.
Maybe it's time to rename this to "Jean Michel Jarre's E-Project" (which is the name of the album) to accomodate existing and future artists beyond TD?
Aside from Magnetic Fields, Jarre hasn't really done much I'm fond of. The collaboration with TD sounds pretty good though, and am interested in hearing what he's done with Carpenter. Might be a CD with picking up.
