TUESDAY, MAY 12
COLOSSAL---Anne Hathaway will star in this monster movie as a woman who returns to her hometown from New York after losing her fiance and job. She then discovers she has a mysterious connection to a giant lizard that is attacking Tokyo. Nacho Vigalondo (TIMECRIMES) is the director.
THE CIRCLE---Alicia Vikander (EX MACHINA) will co-star with Tom Hanks in this movie based on the novel about woman who gets a job at a powerful internet company that uses personal emails, social media, online banking and online purchases to make privacy obsolete.
A WILLING PATRIOT---Liam Neeson is in negotiations to star in this Warner Bros. movie about a CIA agent who goes undercover to defeat a South American terrorist organization.
THE FOUNDER---Laura Dern is in talks to co-star with Michael Keaton in this movie about Ray Kroc and the McDonald brothers who founded McDonald's.
VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS---sci fi movie underway from Luc Besson (THE FIFTH ELEMENT, TAKEN) based on the French comic book. Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne star. The comic book synopsis is:
“Valerian and Laureline are exploring Syrte, capital planet of a system of 1,000 worlds. Their mission is to discover whether the Syrtians could present a danger to Earth. What they find is a decaying empire led by decadent aristocrats, a population ripe for revolution, and a mysterious caste of masked wise men who discreetly pull the strings from hidden fortresses. Swept up by the winds of history, the agents of Earth will have to choose a side.”

WAITING---James Caan stars in this movie about two high school filmmmakers who film a movie with an unsuspecting neighbor about a haunting that's really phony.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2----Judith Hoag, who starred in the original 1990 movie, has a cameo in the remake sequel.
LAVENDER---movie starring Abbie Cornish and Dermot Mulroney in which a female photographer, suffering from severe memory loss, sees clues in her photos that indicate she killed family members she didn't know existed.
MALLRATS---Kevin Smith said the sequel is titled MALLBRATS.
