What? This is the first I hear about this? How does one check which discs one has? Not sure. Play the track to see if it has the right version? How would I play the track to know if it has the right version?

The McNeely was a free-conducted live orchestral performance for the Hollywood ‘95 album, so it wasn’t trying to match Goldsmith’s tempo. Yavar

The McNeely recording is 50 seconds while the Goldsmith recording runs 58 seconds. Goldsmith recording is also dryer and has electronic elements. Did you know the Goldsmith recording phases with the recording on the John Beal trailer album? What an amazing coincidence. Neil Well, thanks Neil, that was very helpful. The track (01-26) on my CD set is 58 seconds (and IIRC includes electronic elements), so it seems to be the "right" one.

Well I don't know which version I have nor do I care. I purchased the score for Alan Silvestri's pulse pounding score. Yes, sure, me too obviously. (I just prefer to have all the albums "updated" if there is a replacement disc for some reason, and a different track is certainly a good reason.) Anyway, JUDGE DREDD is one of my favorite Silvestri scores, it's exciting and an orchestral powerhouse of a score.

Well, Intrada have done it again! They are sending me a copy of the replacement disc! This is a complete surprise to me, I figured it would be beyond a long shot. Apparently, they still have a few copies left so FYI. Thanks so much to Intrada for their awesome service!
