STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY---Joss Whedon commented on rumors that Walt Disney Pictures wants him to replace Josh Trank as director of the Boba Fett movie, "I can't say for sure, because that's a tasty morsel. But right now my heart doesn't go that way."

Fox cancelled AMERICAN IDOL due to declining ratings with the last season premiering in January, 2016. It also cancelled THE FOLLOWING and BACKSTROM and renewed BONES.
The network ordered two new series. MINORITY REPORT, a sequel to the Tom Cruise movie, is set 10 years after the end of Precrime, with Precog Dash teaming up with a female police detective to prevent murders before they happen. Stark Sands and Lara Vega star. LUCIFER is based on the comic book and stars Tom Ellis and Lauren German.

So this is how long-running garbage ends; not with a bang, but a whimper.

Too bad about Battle Creek. Nothing new here, but Dean Winters is a hoot and the supporting cast is solid. Like Selfie, I didn't expect this one to appeal to me at all but it turned out not so badly.

Neither trailer convinced me, but I'll give both a shot. Lucifer's gonna be rough because it's based on one of my favorite graphic novels and will almost certainly only be loosely inspired by.

Boy, that image sure does want to make you run out and see this one, huh? Good grief, was lifeless and uninteresting what they were shooting for? That could be the screen grab of any show on Disney right now.

It should've ended with a bang from a gun to the show's forehead years prior.

Me either.

That was the one that originally had Simon Cowell on it, wasn't it? He's what started my aversion to watching it. Ten seconds of his arrogant, smirking mug in the ads was more than enough to make me *never* want to watch.

I had the displeasure of seeing some episodes back when my living situation was different.
