MGH, what's the story on Douglas' involvement?

I don't really know much more than that. I read someplace that he did some work on the film. IMDB says that it was uncredited.
I have always felt he was a bit under rated. He did Them!(the first of the giant insect movies and the best) and my favorite western, Rio Conchos.
