Well if they have a contract with the AFM and violated the terms of that contract then maybe it is justified.

Better then going after the composers.

The problem is with the instances they're suing for... Syncopy produced INTERSTELLAR, who is not a signatory of the AFM, and so suing Paramount might actually harm further negotiations between them and the AFM.
