A beautiful, beautiful score for an equally beautiful game. The game itself reminds me of LIMBO (it's all about a thousand ways to die eek ) but the look of the game is clearly inspired by the movies of Hayao Myazaki (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke).
The original orchestral score is composed by Gareth Coker and is worth checking out:

The score is available for download on amazon.com and itunes

Thanks for posting about this. I'm interested in the music, and my daughter in the game, so two generations happy in one go.

bump.

Nice review on Synchrotone's Soundtrack Review. After listening over a couple of weeks to this, I can recommend this score even more.

I'm really surprised that this score hasn't gotten much attention on this board. I am just listening to it again this morning and it is just stunning work. Still in my top scores for 2015.

I wrote a review on it too back in March.

A CD release would be wonderful - but the quality of the digital release is fantastic.

And if you're in the USA someone is already selling their copy for $12.50 with free shipping. A great buy IMO.

I'd buy it, but the shipping costs bumps me up to the cost of the whole limited edition!

This looks like a "best of" edition that has only 24 tracks.

You can buy the original release in lossless format (32 tracks) at 7digital .com

You can but the additional soundtrack album (that included the definitive edition tracks in lossless format from bandcamp .com (29 tracks)

And note this release is 'pay what you want' so you can DL the whole thing for free. Or DL it, enjoy it, then toss the composer some money. However you want to play it.

Lossless download all the way. You get every note from the game and then some. This is truly a gem of a game score. Beautiful, sad, exciting.
