For all three movies, TRANSFORMERS, ROCKY IV and STAYING ALIVE! He's one of my favorites.

He has released non-soundtracks too, check these sites:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vince_DiCola
http://tdrsmusic.com/vince.html

In-vince-ible and Falling Off A Clef are fine albums, the latter featuring his score from Sci-Fighter among other things.

He was only 25 when he scored Rocky IV, by the way!

There's also that Transformers piano album -- yes really. It's really very good.

Was any of DiCola's music for Stayin' Alive ever released?

The album this comes from, Falling off a Clef, is available on DiCola's bandcamp website - digital only.

Many other albums there as well.

Back in the day, I just didn't pay any attention to DiCola at all, but The Transformers Movie is a favorite in the past couple of years (great for bike rides). I guess it's an 80's nostalgia thing, but I'm loving all this stuff.

I own Intrada's release of Transformers but still need to get Rocky IV. That one has been on my wish list forever. Transformers gets a lot of plays, great from start to finish.

Must have been quite a limited release, in US anyway. Can't even find an entry for it on Amazon or ebay.

Thanks for sharing that, FB. But I must admit, to me it's not on the level of Transformers. It's al over the place! I think it's to over the top, almost a parody of the Transformers music.

Thanks for sharing it though. The name alone is worth the while wink
