John Williams composed replacement scores to "Rosewood" and "Stepmom." Jerry Goldsmith composed replacement scores to "Chinatown", "Air Force One", and "The 13th Warrior" among others. Horner also wrote replacement scores for "The Journey of Natty Gann" and Ron Howard's "Ransom." There are others that aren't coming readily to mind at the moment, so I'll update as I think of them - and everyone else folks will chime in with their wisdom, too.

Actually, I keep a page for that at my Rejected Film Scores website, too. I haven't updated the list in probably over a year. If we remove rescores of overseas films, the higher ones include: Klaus Badelt (8) John Barry (8) John Debney (7 to 10, depending on what you count) Jerry Goldsmith (9) James Horner (7; 8 if you count the time hre replaced himself 1.5 times) Mark Isham (9) Alan Silvestri (9) John Williams (6; he was the only one I counted as low as "6" here) Hans Zimmer (unknown amount since I haven't updated the list in a while, but probably around 7 to 9) EDIT: There was no score to replace on "First Knight".

There really wasn't so much a rejected score as there were demos which the director passed on. It was Carter Burwell, a composer Whedon is a big fan of (but for some reason hasn't hried since). http://www.RejectedFilmScores.150m.com/list.html

Heath, would you happen to recall if he made the choice or if he was asked to?
