"I always fancied Lee's vicious Oriental female sidekick!" I once made the mistake of referring to a Chinese lady as "Oriental." She shot me a look that could singe flesh, and snapped: "An ORIENTAL is a carpet. I am ASIAN!" Woof! I'll never make that mistake again!

Im not getting into that because in the uk altho technically correct when you use the word asian, people think you mean someone from india or pakistan and not the far east. Ok i always fancied Lee's vicious chinese female sidekick. (wait for someone to tell me that she wasnt chinese she was a southwestern central tibetan asian and she wasnt a sidekick she was his sister from another father??!).

"What was once innocent racist fun when done with wit and style by Boris Karloff, has been turned into one of the most gruesomely sick side-show attractions by the "new wave" of directors and actors ever, who obviously have never seen (or even heard of) Murnau or Dreyer. So what we have here is opium for the drop-outs. And in colour too, just to accentuate the blood spurting out of severerd breasts ad nauseum. So this time the Manchurian candidate is bent - I mean bent on world domination (let's be thankful for small mercies), and goes about trying to dominate the world by doing away with the establishment. Dangerous fodder indeed for those who are already "against voting", like Jane Fonda and her Woodstock bunch of wasters. And in order to do so, he gets his totally naked daughter to seduce decent politicians into doing the most frightful things. Some may see this as subversive, a "way to make a statement". It is not. It is simply a way to get brainless "bottoms" (sorry - I had to) on seats and then vote for Michael Foot, or at least throw stones at the police. Is it any wonder society is in the state it's in?" (Leslie Crowther Crackerjack-Pencil - "Whatever Happened to Arthur Askey?" - Pandemonium Press, 1922) SORRY TO BUTT IN, LESLIE, BUT IN THAT POSTER IT LOOKS NOWT LIKE THE FU I KNEW. ARE YOU SURE YOU'VE GOT THE RIGHT FILM? (thanks).

They gave Christopher Lee a Chinese name and a new look facially.
