At a restaurant at a resort in Mexico a few years back, among the music being playing was an upbeat jazz arrangement of one of the themes from Jaws 2 (probably the Catamaran Race, but I can't remember for sure now). Quite an obscure recording to be sure, but might anyone know where this track comes from, and if it is easily acquired on CD?

Here's a sorta jazzy Disco Version. Can this be what you heard?

I'm diggin it!

It's more like gentle rock, disco funk.

But it's got a great beat and I can dance to it!

Cool! You'd be forgiven for thinking this was Meco's version of Jaws 2.??

Totally. There's a shorter-by-half single version, too, so at the very least, why not that?

That is an awesome track! But I don't think that its what I heard before. I definitely remember more of a jazzy almost calypso sound, not disco. And no other themes other than the Catamaran Race. But this one almost makes up for it if I never find that original one I heard. Thanks for the link!

Also a cool track, but still too disco-y. Also the shark theme wasn't in the track I heard before. But it was several years ago, so I could be remembering wrong too. At any rate, I've found some new tracks that I need to get thanks to this thread!

Johnny, superb name.
I thought about changing my moniker to Jimmy TwoTimes - as my phone keeps double posting.
