To set the record straight, we have a new page on our website listing the 50 "Golden Age" 3-D features. Please share!

Thanks for the info! I hadn't realized there were "only" 50. Is that really all of them (in the Hollywood system, anyway)? And I see there was a scattering of additional films produced after the '52-'55 flurry; would you know about many of those there were?

Hey Bob! THANKS so much for sharing this wonderful resource! As a long-time 3-D lover, I am enjoying this a lot!

My pleasure, Christopher!

Yes Joe, there were exactly 50 in the Golden Age.

There are many more post-1966 but I've never counted them.

Mr. Furmanek, I wanted to say how happy I was to discover your website, and that I enjoyed reading every article. I was quite excited to see Warner's releasing House Of Wax. I think the site is a college course in all things 3-D!

We've just updated our website to include new information on the never-completed feature, THE 3-D FOLLIES.

There's also new data on shorts and industrial films including the lost 1954 General Motors short, THIS IS PROGRESS. With 3-D footage of the XP-21 Firebird, this lost film must be found. Please share!

At long last and after many requests, we have our Silver Age 1966-1997 page on our website. I hope that you enjoy seeing these great posters again!

Great stuff. I'll wager that a smaller percentage of the Silver Age films survive in 3-D than the Golden Age films.

Thanks for all that info, Bob! It's interesting to see so many 3D releases in the decades after that first great glory period for 3D in the '50s; I hadn't realized there were so many in that timeframe between 1955 and 1998 (though I do see a number of the releases are reissues of previous ones).

You're probably right!

Special thanks to John McElwee at Greenbriar Picture Shows for this wonderful article about our work.

Wonderful stuff, and much appreciated.

Posters help to put a face on these discarded and forgotten stereo films.

If you're in touch with the Owensby organization do try to persuade them to release their 3-D titles in 3-D.

I'd buy them all.
