Does Los Angeles Philarmonic Orchestra work with the rules of the AFM mob? Bad news if that's the case

Of course they do work with AFM. But don't worry, you won't get a 45 minute CD...

Firstly there is nothing about L. A. Philharmonic in there, the professional orchestra housed in the Walt Disney Hall and not active in film scoring business.
It is rather the Hollywood Studio Orchestra or what it is called.
Williams handselects a lot of the musicians in this freelance orchestra (which L.A. Phil is not btw).
There are certainly individual musicians from the L.A. phil playing in it also though.

Secondly, this is already in the other thread.

of course I know this will probably be a studio orchestra like most williams scores recorded in L.A. before

thirdly, does that make this new thread irrelevant ? Certainly not Sir.

Truly a tempest in a teapot. I don't think we should bow to te whim of a person who literally bookmarks and indexes all the FSM threads he posts in.

Of course everybody can post threads and comments as he likes.
When there is a thread quite frequently active here, like on a day by day basis, I think it makes sense to
read some of the last comments in it before opening a new thread which is titled with a single information and
which features one link - when both can be already found in the active thread.
Especially when it is a topic of much interest, I'd think it is a good idea to check out if the supposedly newly found information is not posted already in the other thread.

In that sense, this thread is definitely irrelevant, yes.
I did open irrelevant threads myself for sure, even about The Force Awakens because
I was the first one to post here that it is directed by JJ A. But there was no need to
open another thread for this, I could have checked before doing it and I think
now I'd do it. Due to my reading habits here.

But no offense intented, open as much threads as you like, of course.

Lol, yes, this is a discussion board, not the Encyclopaedia Britannica.

Anything on this forum can be found using Google search, which is far better and more flexible than this site's own search facility. And it's faster, and the results easier to sift through.

Exactly, for example, couldn't find the "Ennio Morricone resumes concerts" topic through the FSM search engine, but works perfectly with Google search.
