like this. But no, they went for the Sinhead O'conner look! (I know, I spelled it wrong on porpoise) What do you all think? Do you care?

For me it just turned out to be a movie of many stupid choices. Persis was a gorgeous lady with hair.

I always prefer hair over bald on the ladies myself.

But Persis manged to pull off bald really, really well. Same goes for Karen Gillan.

She wasn't a bad actress either. Too bad she got delegated to stuff that ended up on Mystery Science Theater.

Beautiful woman, a shame she died so young.

I always thought it would have been more effective if Ilia had a full head of hair at first - and then, when Khambatta returns as the Ilia-probe, she is bald.
