sounds about right... according to silva it will be available digitally first on March 23rd to coincide with the theatrical releases of the movie in both US and UK on March 20th. The CD will be released on April 6th.
Has anyone else seen the movie? The full opening credits don't include a score credit. During the end title crawl there's the credit "Music Composed and Conducted by Jose Luis Rodriguez," and later there's credits for specific Beltrami cues, some with titles like, I think, "Under the Gun Suite Pts. 1 - 4."
Could this have something to do with some rule about using Spanish composers on films that use Spanish locations/tax breaks?
A couple of secondary sellers (one in UK, one in US) have new copies for sale at around $20, but I wonder where they got theirs from?
I think occasionally those sellers start listing the product when they expect it to be released, and presumably they will delay shipment until they actually receive stock themselves. So they might not actually have any yet.
Like Red Eye the score to MB's The Gunman has been released but no one's offered any opinions or barely acknowledged that they've listened to it. I have the CD and am enjoying it tremendously, anyone that likes this will love No Escape, great companion scores (hope No Escape gets a release!).
I'm curious whether anyone has heard this score yet and your thoughts, if you're interested in sharing!
