MV, can one safely gift one's 3 GNP discs and one's 2CD LLL, or will some of those still include music that doesn't appear on this massive opus?

The new set probably wont have 5 minutes of silence added to some tracks, or inaccurate tracklist inserts. Consequently the GNPs might become collector items like the Inverted Jenny (upsidedown Wright Bro. stamp) or the Kissing Lincolns penny.

Nice!

I have mixed feelings about upcoming release.
I hope this set will be successful for LLL (so they can release more TV-show scores in future).
I listen samples via YouTube and enjoy them.
But I also hope it will not be sold out before next year, as I want it but I can't buy it not now, nor in near future.
Formally, my salary has not changed - it wasn't raised nor lowered, but if last year I could spend, let's say $190-195 (just for myself, for my hobbies), today the same sum (in rubles) is just $90-95 (and seems that in next 3-6 months it could be $60-75!!!) - so if I want to get LIS box (and I also want M:I box and other good titles too), I need to save money for 3-4 months. And this means I mustn't buy anything else for myself!
So once again - from one point of view - thanks that LLL release all this jewels. And also thanks heaven that they decided to release B:TAS as separate volumes.
So let's hope that when everything with my finance will be fine again, all titles, which I want, will be available smile

IMDB says to me,

of 87 episodes,

Alexander Courage ... (7 episodes, 1966-1968)
Herman Stein ... (4 episodes, 1965-1966)
John Williams ... (4 episodes, 1965)
Robert Drasnin ... (4 episodes, 1966)
Joseph Mullendore ... (3 episodes, 1967-1968)
Fred Steiner ... (1 episode, 1967)
Gerald Fried ... (2 episodes, 1967)
Cyril J. Mockridge ... (2 episodes, 1967)
Frank Comstock ... (unknown episodes)
Richard LaSalle ... (1 episode, 1965)
Leith Stevens ... (1 episode, 1966)
Pete Rugolo ... (1 episode, 1968)

Are all the other episodes comprised of music composed for these episodes?

The new set is supposed to offer screen-used versions of certain cues, where the prior releases had LIS library tracks. So it might be wise to preserve everything. And don't forget the liner notes and artwork.

Also, you should at least hold onto the Old Ones long enough to take a group photo of all the LIS releases together, and post it here for the fun of it.

If we can order on October 6, I'm hoping to receive the set in time for the 18th anniversary, but it's going to be tight:

I'm especially excited about getting this cue, one of my favorites. It's called "Waking up the Robinsons".

Frank Comstock did one episode with Stein (this is reflected on the old CD set). He's credited for it on IMDb -- I have no idea why he's listed as "unknown episodes" above.
