I agree! The BYU CD of A Summer Place is wonderful, so full of beautiful melodies. I think it's now out of print. I still play this CD often. I saw Two On A Guillotine over 30 years ago but remembered how I liked the score, quite the opposite of A Summer Place. Both Helen of Troy and King Richard are massive Steiner scores and favorites as well. Max Rules!
A few months ago both Doug/Intrada and MV/LLL sort of hinted they might be doing a Max Steiner CD. Let's hope so. Max has been neglected by the labels.

I too have all the Max Steiner LPs and CDs. Yes, I hope this year BYU and others will finally issue a Steiner CD!
