I just watched 'Seance on a Wet Afternoon" (on Hulu) and was struck by the difference between the often recorded version and the quite dissident film version.

- John Barry released a 45rpm version in 1964 ... primarily a condensed version of the Kidnapping underscore - John Barry recorded an arrangement of the main title theme for his first Columbia/CBS album The Great Movie Sounds of John Barry in 1965 - Nic Raine recorded a suite of the main thematic material with the CoPP released on the album Walkabout ... (2001)
All brilliant, evocative and leaving you wanting more ...
So, please advise: what other versions do you know of this often recorded theme/score. Or do you mean often released, i.e. included in compilations albums (except for the 45rpm release which I believe is not so commonly available)?
I made a DVD-rip of the score, lasting approx. 16' ... including some dialogue, though I ignored the non-JB music (source music) and some of the very short/dialogue heavy cues. I don't expect a legitimate release, though would love to have one ... a brilliant piece of work especially given the early stage of his career.
