We were not involved with the upcoming 3-D blu-ray release but in case the 2-D myth is repeated, here's the true story on the VERY wide 3-D release in 1953/54.

Oops, I thought the post was not going through and tried several times. My apologies.

Can a moderator please delete the duplicates? Thanks!

Singin' In The Rain
The Band Wagon
Calamity Jane
Kiss Me Kate 2D & 3D

$26.44 at Amazon. That's an amazing price for this four Blu-ray musicals box set from Warner. Less than $7 a movie!

Wow--GOG in 3D! Thanks, Bob, for resurrecting another artifact from my misspent youth. I'm still enjoying DRAGONFLY SQUADRON from last spring (although I have to visit my son in Minneapolis to partake of the 3D version on his Panasonic 3D set.)

You're very welcome, it's a pleasure.

And there's more vintage 3-D coming to Blu-ray too!

To my consternation, the 3-D archives website has been completely redesigned since I last checked on it. Some of the articles remain, but a lot is missing. To Bob or anyone in the know, are any of the absent pages retrievable somewhere?

I had an e-mail exchange with Bob Furmanek back in May, and he said that the missing pages "are being slowly revamped for the new site." Very slowly, apparently.

Whew, okay. Just as long as they're not gone for good.

Personally l don't care for 3D movies. I always found it annoying and distracting. In fact in the past when a movie was released in 3D l would seek out a theater showing it in 2D. It just doesn't add anything for me.

If you had ever seen "The Wizard of Oz" in 3-D, I think the story here would be VERY different!

I just don't like wearing the special glasses. They're annoying and those gray, polarized lenses make the picture seem too dark.
