ALIEN---Neill Blomkamp said about his sequel, “I want this film to feel like it is literally the genetic sibling of ALIEN. So it’s ALIEN, ALIENS and then this movie.” He added the sequel will give Ellen Ripley "A proper ending".
Sigourney Weaver commented on Ripley in the sequel, "I would love to take Ripley out of orbiting around in space, and give a proper finish to what was such an excellent story. When someone like Neill Blomkamp suddenly said, 'Well I'm interested in finishing this story,' my little ears perked up...I'm delighted that he's interested in doing this. I think it's a great series. It deserves a proper ending. I know the fans would love that, so I hope it works out."

MINORITY REPORT---Laura Regan (MAD MEN) will play pre-cog Agatha in the Fox pilot which is set a decade after the Tom Cruise movie. Samantha Morton, who played Agatha in the movie, turned down the role in the pilot. The pilot focuses on pre-cog Dash, who seeks a normal life, and teams up with a female detective with a troubled past. Dash is Agatha's foster brother.
THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!---photo released showing Lady Penelope and Parker. Rosamund Pike (GONE GIRL) will provide the voice for Penelope.
WHERE'D YOU GO BERNADETTE?---movie underway based on the novel about an agoraphobic architect is disappears just before her family's trip to Antarctica. Richard Linklater (BOYHOOD) is the director.
MARVEL'S AGENT CARTER---co-showrunner Michele Fazekas said about Toby Jones appearing as Zola in the events connecting CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER and THE WINTER SOLDIER, "He isn't necessarily coming back. That scene wasn't saying that Toby Jones is going to be the big villain of season two or anything. It was just recognizing that this is the start of the Winter Soldier program." Co-showrunner Tara Butters said what they learned about Season 1, "More Peggy and Jarvis. They are the heart of the series."
THE HOUSE---Will Ferrell stars in this comedy movie about a couple who lose their daughter's college fund and try to get it back by opening an illegal casino in their basement.
NETFLIX---Netflix ordered series reboots of INSPECTOR GADGET and DANGER MOUSE in addition to three new children's series.
