INTERSECTION
Music Composed by James Newton Howard
Expanded Limited Edition of 1000 units

Quartet Records and Paramount Pictures present the expanded release of James Newton Howard’s (Maleficent, Wyatt Earp, Dinosaur, The Price of Tides) original soundtrack to Intersection, the 1994 dramatic-romantic Paramount Pictures remake of a famous 1970 French film, Les choses de la vie. Intersection stars Richard Gere, Sharon Stone, Lolita Davidovich and Martin Landau; Mark Rydell directed the film.

James Newton Howard provides a beautiful, elegant score – one of his most romantic from the nineties – including stylish passages for harmonica performed by Toots Thielemans.

Previously released by Milan Records in 1994, our expanded edition includes all the music composed by Howard for the film, presented in film order and fully remastered from the original recording sources provided by Paramount Pictures. The package includes a 20-page full-color booklet with liner notes by Andy Dursin.

Very nice!! I play the old CD quite often, will replace regardless of what material is added.
Glad a new generation will discover this lovely score.

I always like to name this as the quietest score written for the largest forces - big
orchestra, chorus, electronics, rock band, solo harmonica.

Great melancholy score. Love old school JNH.

Great release! Underrated score, time to re-evaluate and finally appreciate it in its expanded form!

Cool to see another 90s JNH expansion with none other than Toots Thielemans performing on it.

Yeah, from JNH's Golden Era, so even the minor scores are good. Great theme, super smooth.

A nice expansion of a good solid Newton Howard score. Always liked this score so have ordered this one. Around 11 mins more by my calculations.
Many thanks Quartet.

Some nice titles on offer, although part of me is sad you have to discount some Delerue titles or Murder on the Orient Express when they should really have sold out.

On the subject of Agatha Christie, how about a re-release of Rota's Death of the Nile or, if you want to really make me happy, the BBC Miss Marple series whose previous release is quite hard to come by and is quite expensive when it does pop up on ebay.

I agree with you. A great and mature score. A strong film, too.

This description intrigues me. I'll have to check it out!

Exactly my thoughts. I said this to myself after listening to The Fugitive in it's entirety. Fascinating.
This one is a must folks.
