CD arrived today. Apparently it's limited to 1,000 pressings. Whether that many will sell, who knows, but it's clever how they try to create demand by spinning a small-ish pressing as a collector's edition instead of simply an artefact of an increasingly small niche market.
I think Lakeshore would prefer to be digital only, but do these 1000 limited pressings because they know they'll still sell some to the non-digital crowd.
I ordered this today, Navarrete has produced some excellent scores in the past.
Someone (LLL) should release Wrath of the Titans, it only came out as a CD-R, and I don't think even that is still available on demand any more. A truly magnificent epic score.

Glad to see Wrath of The Titans get some love, it's a very underrated score. "Ares Fights", in particular, is one hell of a cue.
As for Zhong Kui it's my favorite of 2015 so far. A truly stunning score.
Though China has its share of film music talent, I like how western composers are getting shots at scoring enormous Chinese blockbusters. After Chris Young's The Monkey King and Navarrete's Zhong Kui, I'm looking forward to Carlo Siliotto's Crouching Tiger 2.
SAE does not even have it in yet. I should have ordered from AMAZON. I've been anxiously awaiting since the post. I just adore Navarrete and know this score knocks it out of the park!
