As a delivery driver, I certainly have a lot of opportunity to listen to CD's as I work, film music particularly in this case (and one video game soundtrack choice). Though of course, some scores work better in this environment than others. What are your favorite scores to play in the car? For me, when I'm taking a particularly long trip (or one where I don't have to worry about paying attention to map directions) I'll pull out The Muppet Movie, Grand Canyon by James Newton Howard, Silent Hill 2 by Akira Yamaoka, and I also love pulling Hellraiser (Christopher Young) and Poltergeist (Jerry Goldsmith) out when working night shift.

I think someone has done this topic before, but I suck at searching out old threads. I'm completely eclectic when traveling in an urban environment. Here in metro Phoenix and when I lived in the West Palm Beach to Miami I-95 Corridor, I mix up everything. But when traveling around outside the city in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, etc. I love putting on a mix of Western scores....lots of Morricone, Bernstein, Moross, etc. Makes the drives epic. A trip to the Pacific Northwest and in Glacier National Park/Waterton Lakes NP, I got a lot of use out of John Scott's THE NORTH STAR. Years ago, in Florida, I was a circulation manager for a newspaper and often filled in for carriers delivering papers in the wee hours of the night...mostly in wooded rural areas. Tangerine Dream scores like FLASHPOINT and FIRESTARTER among others provided great accompaniment.

I had figured such, though wasn't sure whether or not bumping old threads is frowned upon here. xS
