DAMN! That's a pretty gruesome front cover! I have to admit, though, that it's very clever that they listed the sides as "1st down, 2nd down"... etc.!
These will probably be worth big bugs down the road, especially the ones that that are the colors of the winning team!

Wow, usually I follow the rule "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" when online. However, I have to admit, I find that artwork to be in absolutely appalling taste. A shrapnel riddled football helmet, oozing blood? It's up there with when I went to Auschwitz, and bought a guidebook, and the bookstore had plastic bags with blue and white stripes like the camp uniforms. This artwork turns me off from ever wanting to buy anything from that company.

Also, why on earth make the LP in the colors of two teams that aren't the ones in the film? The actual 1976 "big game" featured in the film, Super Bowl X, has Dallas playing Pittsburgh.

Well, the regular issue of the vinyl will be black, after all.

That's a minor issue to me. I can't believe Paramount signed off on this artwork, it really is repulsive.

This is one of my favorite films of all time, specifically because of the stunningly nuanced way in which it views international terrorism. The monologue that Bruce Dern has about how he was mistreated as a Vietnam vet is brilliantly written and performed - two years before COMING HOME and THE DEER HUNTER would be celebrated for being the "first" to handle the same issue. I can't think of a single other film like this where the terrorists are as developed and multi-dimensional as the cops pursuing them, except maybe 1998's equally prescient THE SIEGE.

This artwork makes BLACK SUNDAY seem like a cheap, grisly slasher film, and OBVIOUS SPOILER FOR A FORTY-YEAR-OLD MOVIE, shows something that doesn't even happen in the movie.

I'll prefer the complete score of jaws on vinyl,it's the 40 years of the film after all, instead Geffen made a simple reissu of the 1975 album for 21$,absolutly ridiculous.

At least there's no bloody head inside that helmet.
