New Saimel CD release is "Musarañas", a film produced by Alex de la Iglesia, with music composed by Joan Valent (Las brujas de Zugarramurdi / Witching and Bitching, Messi).
Music composed by Valent is excellent, inspiring, terrifying... The composer takes references the 40s and 50s: Herrmann, Korngold, Tiomkin, their classical imprint and orchestral agility. While its force is the patron of the composition, as the film has a large area where music is guiding the drama.
