IT'S SO MUCH FUN TO GET HERE FIRST!!! YAY!!! But I can't even recognize the actor...

From the dark recesses of my memory, he starts to look like mid 40's-to-early 50's B-Western star Lash La Rue, who cranked out over 25 films from '45 to '52 and then did a 1953 tv series as the same character. (But then, maybe I'm having my senior moment of the day.)

Now, if you look carefully, Bob (not looking his best there) is using a left-handed draw. So who do we know who was ASSUMED to be left-handed because of a famous photo reverse-print mistake? Bob was right-handed in all his OTHER films ... Mind you, many of those publicity stills were flipped horizontal, so it's not conclusive. But did Bob not wear a leather jacket in that highly unauthentic flick, no? Or maybe it's a two-gun thing.

Well, the picture of the actor must have caught him in mid-emotion. It does seem slightly skewed. If I'm right about who this is, it is one of the many tellings of the story of a famous outlaw. Perhaps the most famous. Edit: The outlaw's name is the name of the film. i think we might have a winner mgh! Its that famous Roman outlaw Quo Vadis!

Clues only people. Guesses/naming the film - right or wrong - spoil it for everyone. I should have this post on a save/get key.
