It is remixed by Bandini on the Ennio Morricone Remixes Vol. 02
This was used BRILLIANTLY by David Fincher for Nike's FATE commercial which follows to boys from birth to impact as adults all told with left to right/right to left and no dialogue.
Wow, I really enjoyed that Nike Fate commercial. I don't remember seeing it before, and the music really fits. Francis, I do wonder who get royalties. Does the composer get anything for using his iconic theme?

Yes, cool commercial! Not a specific answer but the copyright holder gets the royalties. Composers like most other artists are work for hire. They don't own the music they compose for someone else. They could still get royalties if it was worked out in a contract. I don't know if that is common or not.
I find it ironic that the general consensus in Hollywood is that ppl hate thematic music, yet it pops up everywhere else. I hear thematic music all the time in commercials, sporting events, at special ceremonies, political events, etc. Just not in films.
Ditto, solium. I hear many rather famous themes in commercials and various sports events. Several years ago in one prestigious golf tournament, I heard Zimmer's Gladiator and Crimson Tide, Rudy, Remember the Titans, and Dances With Wolves, and these were played in just a few hours.
That's nice, but I'd rather have Morricone's ORIGINAL scores for commercials. I remember he did one for Norwegian director Harald Zwart a couple of years ago.
