Personally I love the unique look the forum has. It'd be very sad to see it move to a 'standard' looking forum.

I'm sure there must be a way of speeding things up without changing the user interface. I too prefer this design to the php/BB3 style.

I'm working on a rather large PDF of all the threads. Just trying to get it finished before the next "Nuclear Error."

LOL the last time that happened we invaded moviemusic.com and found ourselves a wonderful summer home. Peter K was most hospitable, welcoming us with open arms, and we simply picked up right where we left off. And behaved. Generally. For the most part. Would you believe for many months? Would you believe several weeks?? How about a couple hours of daylight??? ONE????

Oatmeal and 100% wheat bread should do the trick.

Ah yes, the Great Migration™. Also, Wedge typing out the Rebel Fanfare from Star Wars whilst still accessing the old board via direct URLs.

The old days…

Now, if we can get the search function fixed so that the last 5 months of postings show up.

Now, if can get the search function fixed so that the last 5 months of postings show up.

Easy solution to that: use Google instead. Type in whatever you're searching for and add

site:www.filmscoremonthly.com/board

at the end. That will limit the search to the forum only. All the search results will be up to date.

And if you're looking for a phrase, put it in speech marks, which narrows down the result further.

Thanks for the tip.

Okay, I thought part of the viewing of this website was my very early Windows XP computer, but after investing some of my tax refund money on a new computer, it is the site. I spent all morning making sure I had all my favorite sites bookmarked and tested each one. Every single one was 50 times fast than my old computer, except this site, which actually locked up and gave me an error message. I cleaned out all my cookies and started with this site and it locked up again with no error message. I closed out and went to multiple other sites with no problem and just came back and it locked up again. I just decided to leave in on this site and it came up in a little over a minute. Are they working on this site today? I had better viewing of this site on my old computer.

It's always been the site, its old software and traffic. Nothing we can do about it. It's free to everyone and no revenue is made for the forum owner, so there's no reason to expect an upgrade.

Some days I have trouble with this site, other days it's fine.

I'm not complaining, it's really nice of Lukas to have it for us. It's a great meeting place for fellow film score fans.

It seems the board server needs a reboot again. Response times are abysmal.
