Though it's a small list right now, I have found seven CLUB titles on iTunes in case you missed them on CD. I believe these are up on the North American iTunes site now, but hopefully we'll have them up for the other markets. Stand by!

The Goonies
The Right Stuff-NOT the re-recording
Fedora
Heartbeeps
Ballad Of Cable Hogue
North By Northwest-re-recording by Joel McNeely
Crimes Of The Heart
Tai-Pan
Lost: The Last Episodes

Great idea! I hope a bunch more Varese Clubs appear for download in the UK.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'll keep adding titles to the first post so others can easily see which titles are up.

I could not find The Burbs for some reason.

Thanks guys for the help!!

Slightly off-topic, but I noticed that the majority (95%+) of Varese/Sarabande titles (meaning regular titles, not Club) have disappeared from my country's iTunes store in the last few months. I remember reading somewhere that Varese stopped licencing their music to Colosseum Schallplatten but cannot find the thread where that news appeared. I hope Varese will be making those titles available again in future outside North America, as the iTunes soundtrack selection is so limited already on the international sites (and mainly focused on newer stuff, most of which is not my cup of tea).

At least one of the streaming services (Deezer) also has these titles, albeit for streaming only (BUT, at full CD resolution v. itunes lossy mp3s).

Prefer CD's, but love second chances. Glad their available.

Would love to see Jerry Goldsmith's MAC ARTHUR available if there are no plans to re-release it as a future club title.

Colosseum has lost the rights to release any Varèse stuff. On CD and digital. The digital stuff has also vanished from iTunes, Spotify, Deezer and so on. A disaster!

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this will clear the way for Varese US to harmonise their offering over all iTunes stores worldwide. It is very frustrating that so much music is exclusive to North America. And that goes for other labels too, particularly Geffen/Universal.

I wouldn't define it as "North American," because that would imply Canada, too – and they're not on Canadian iTunes.

Howdy guys and gals. Yes we have a new foreign distributor for digital which changed over at the beginning of the year. It's taking longer than expected to get these transferred over, but we are on it. Thanks for the patience during this as these titles will be up, promise!

Joe Vs. The Volcano is available in Canada on iTunes which is awesome! I have the long OOP CD but for those that missed it, it's an absolute steal for $12.99.

Thanks DMD, that's good news. Do you know whether foreign territories will now finally be getting the full Varese back catalogue including Club titles (Goonies, Right Stuff, Cable Hogue, etc.)? Also Black Cauldron (non Club)?

That is something I do not know and the one who would know is out of the office at the moment. frown
