He burst onto the scene (or at least my attention) in 2011 with three very solid adventure score releases: A Lonely Place to Die, Age of Heroes, and Treasure Guards. And while I can see from IMDB that he's kept busy since, there have been no releases of anything that I'm aware of. Anyone know why we haven't heard more from him? Did those releases not sell well enough to warrant more, or have his projects since then not been up to that level of quality, or what?

Very good question, Mastadge. I too have Age of Heroes, and Treasure Guards, and agree they are very good. There are also many other excellent scores released by Movie Score Media and other small labels, and few if any of them sell out, even small editions of 500.

I suspect the apparent lack of interest is partly because many fans only like certain composers and/or films they are familiar with. Another factor may be that many score collectors don't have time or simply don't know how to find and listen to samples to seek out unfamiliar new ones they would like.

Folks, if you don't know how to search out new film music you might like, try going to the Screen Archives Entertainment website and in the left hand column go to "Company Labels". Click on that, and then on the particular label whose catalog you want to see. A list of releases will come up, and many of them give you an option to listen to samples. I have found dozens of excellent CDs that way, particularly from Movie Score Media, but also many others.

Try it. You are almost certain to find new music from obscure films and unknown composers that you will really like!

He disappeared back into commercial obscurity like hundreds and hundredsds of other composers, a number of which never get a CD release. It happens.
