MONDAY, DECEMBER 22
THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.---first photo released of Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Alicia Vikander starring in the movie based on the 1960s NBC spy series. Premiere is August 14, 2015. Robert Vaughn and David McCallum starred in the tv series.
WESTWORLD---first photo released from the HBO series based on the 1973 Michael Crichton movie shows co-star Ingrid Bolso Berdal. Creator Jonathan Nolan said, "It's a place where you can be whoever you want, and there are no consequences - no rules, no limitations. What happens in Westworld, stays in Westworld. What we can tell you is that we intend to make the most ambitious, subversive, f---ed up television series. The things that keep you up at night, any of those things that trouble you, that is exactly what the show is about." Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris and Evan Rachel Wood star.
STEVE JOBS---Kate Winslet is in negotiations to co-star in the untitled biomovie that stars Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen.
PETER JACKSON---Jackson commented on if he will direct a comic book-based movie now that he's finished the Hobbit franchise, "I don't really like the Hollywood blockbuster bandwagon that exists right now. The industry and the advent of all the technology, has kind of lost its way. It's become very franchise driven and superhero driven.
I've never read a comic book in my life so I'm immediately at a disadvantage and I have no interest in that. So now it's time for us to step back. We're heading towards something of that scale.
So, yes, I'm not going to head off and do a Marvel film. So if I don't do a Marvel film, I don't have any other choice -- I've got to go make a small New Zealand movie!"
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY---director James Gunn commented on a movie featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers, "We're not subservient to The Avengers. Whether or not at some point, some Guardians and some Avengers meet up and meet somewhere in the world, whether it's two years from now, three years from now, four years from now, fifteen years from now...I'm not going to say. But Guardians of the Galaxy does not exist as a prequel to Avengers 3 and 4. They have their own thing that they're involved in. They have their own mythos that they're involved in. They have their own stories that are equally important."
THIS AIN'T THE INTERVIEW XXX---porn parody movie underway of the controversial shelved Sony Pictures movie. Producer and HUSTLER publisher Larry Flynt said, "If Kim Jong-un and his henchmen were upset before, wait till they see the movie we’re going to make. I've spent a lifetime fighting for the First Amendment, and no foreign dictator is going to take away my right to free speech."
24---Kiefer Sutherland commented on returning for the 24 movie and another miniseries, "Me, I don't see going back to it. We had set out to do 12 episodes [of LIVE ANOTHER DAY] to end the show and deal with some of the past history of the show. It was also an irresistible opportunity to go shoot in England. So for all of those reasons it made sense to do that last season." But then he added, "I think I said the same thing at the end of Season 8. So I would hate to be held to that."
HANNIBAL---Joe Anderson (THE GREY) replaces Michael Pitt who chose not to return for Season 3.

Larry Flynt never did a ****** thing "for the First Amendment". Everything he did is for $$$$$$$$$$.
Which are two seperate things. And one doesn't need to do a series of things -- one is enough. It's not a numbers game. You don't reach some magical number where it's okay for you to say you do it.
