I am a huge Morricone fan and I think that his score "La Lupa" (The She-Wolf) is one of his best 90s scores. It has such a tragic and emotional theme and the score is is so powerful and moving. Sad and haunting.
I think it is still available. And if you are into Morricone you definetely should get that score.
I fully agree with you "La Lupa" is a beautiful score ! Please check out the following:
Il Quarto Re ( The Fourth King) I Magi Randagi La Casa Bruciata La Leggenda del Pianista Sull'Oceano ( The Legend Of 1900 ) Nostromo The Endless Game I Guardiani Del Cielo What Dreams May Come (unused score)
These are among many other fine scores by the "Maestro" during the nineties.

Great choices. I especially like Nostromo (the track "The tropical variation" is amazing) and the chaming ethnic I Magi Randagi.

Nostromo is a real favourite of mine - the title track offers two wonderful melodies, which appear to be verse and chorus (so to speak), but then they play together and you realise that they're in counterpoint - if that's the right musical expression. I don't recall a more impressive bit of prestidigitation in all of film music. And it's for a tv series!

I couldn`t agree more. As a matter of fact I am listeing to the score right now. Simply wonderful melodies. And great to hear the voice of the amazing Edda Dell`Orso. And I have to say that the performance of the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra is first rate.
That reminds me again how incredible the creative output of Morricone is. Those lovely scores I Magi Randagi, Nostromo and La Lupa all written in the same year (1996). And the man wrote several other scores that year as well.
